Lunch with The Lintons

Design, layout, typography, & illustration

For this event, Richard and Sally Linton invited students to get free food from local food trucks at the President’s Residence on campus. This event was a pretty quick turn around, so I created these icons, utilizing ones I’d been working on for K-State, as well as creating some event-specific ones, like the food truck and the taco.

In-Person Signage

Working with text from the President’s office, these yard signs were placed all over campus and encouraged interaction through the QR code, which linked to an online registration for the event, which was full by the day of the event, with 1000 registered students.

Vinyl Banners

This vinyl banner was placed outside the Student Union for a few weeks before the event.

Digital Signage and Advertisements

The upper two images were used on digital displays throughout campus, and were adapted to fit onto Instagram and Twitter graphics.

Below, the square icon identified the event on K-State calendars, while the other was used for headers online.
